Ytong Multipor interior insulation boards are made of 100 percent inorganic and mineral materials: Lime, sand and water. The highly insulating and capillary-active boards are fully adhered directly to the sustainable wall, and you do not need a vapor barrier. This means that you achieve 100 percent natural regulation of the humidity without moisture accumulating over time and forming a breeding ground for mold . It is important that the insulation boards are installed on a sustainable substrate, which means that any wallpaper is removed and loose plaster is knocked off the wall to the original masonry before the boards are installed.
Ytong Multipor effectively counteracts mold by continuously absorbing and releasing moisture. If you add ventilation with heat recovery from, for example, Duka , you will always have fresh air in your home, a constant low humidity and low heating costs.
