This adhesive is used to attach SkamoWall Boards. It comes in powder form and simply needs to be mixed with water.

Lime Mortar from Skamol is a lime-based ready-to-use product that can be used as both an adhesive and a plaster when installing SkamoWall. One bag contains 20kg and if you want to use the entire bag, it must be mixed for 7 minutes with 4.5 liters of clean water. A 20 kg bag is enough for approx. 2.5m² as an adhesive (7mm) or approx. 7m² as plaster (2mm). When using Lime Mortar, the work must be carried out in a temperature range of +5°C to +25°C, and clean tools must always be used, while always ensuring that the surface of the substrate is free of dust before application.

The amount to be used depends on the layer thickness you are applying, so all calculations will be a qualified estimate at best.

• Use a bag of 20 kg. is used to glue 2.5 m². If the wall needs to be leveled, it requires that you do it first or order more Skamol Lime Mortar for this.
• If you plaster with Skamol Lime Mortar, you use approximately one bag per 7 m² at a layer thickness of 2 mm.
• If you want increased strength and install SkamoWall Mesh , you will need approximately one bag per 3.5 m² at a layer thickness of 4 mm.
• If you want a smooth surface, you should plaster with SkamoWall Smooth Plaster and therefore only use Skamol Lime Mortar as an adhesive to attach the boards.
